My name is Philip Lindsay.  I started tinting windows for Tim's Trim, Inc. in the early 1980's.  I opened Lindsay Window Tinting in 1988 with my own facility at the Village Gate Square.  My son William started tinting with me in the year 2000 and since then we have personally tinted over 10,000 vehicles.  In addition, we have installed window tint on hundreds of homes, businesses, and boats all over western New York.  We have been certified by the International Window Film Association and unlike many of our esteemed competition; we specialize ONLY in window tinting.

We are constantly researching the top window film manufacturers and putting their films to the test.  We use only the best films we can find in the industry.  In the past 24 years the quality of films has increased immensely, as well as our tinting skills and expertise.  Here at Lindsay Window Tinting we do not use different "grades" of film at different prices, we use the BEST film we can find to install on your vehicle/house/boat/business - Period.

The price we ask for tinting a full vehicle is the same now as it was in 1988!  We are a local family run business, meaning we do not have the overhead costs of other tint shops around Rochester.  We know you will find our prices, across the board, to be considerably less than our competition.

As for our service - the shop is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year.  Can’t make it during the day?  We tint at night.  Can’t make it during the week?  We tint on Saturdays and Sundays.  When we make an appointment with you, we will be there to service you - no waiting, no leaving your vehicle all day that is unless you want to.  The same goes for homes, businesses, or boats.  Call anytime to get a quote, ask a question, or set up an appointment.
